OVERVIEW

The client developed an innovative tool that makes it easy for fishermen to tie knots under difficult conditions such as on rocking boats or low light. It also comes in handy to both young and experienced fishermen with poor vision and shaky hands.

The Challenge


For the inventor, developing his own product and launching his business was a dream come true after decades of working as an engineer. Success however, depended on how well he could get his product in the hands of avid fishermen.

The client was able to gain some momentum by starting to advertise on Google and Facebook, but with no experience in online marketing, things were moving along slowly.

We crafted a sequence of campaigns across Google, Bing, Facebook and Instagram that helped reach the ideal customer in various phases of his journey.

Top Of The Funnel


We leveraged video campaigns on Facebook and YouTube in order to act as first contact and reach new customers.

Bottom Of The Funnel


For the bottom of the funnel, we implemented branded search and Retargeting campaigns to bring back users to the website.

Optimization


On Shopping Ads we utilized Query Sculpting to separate campaigns by search intent (one for branded searches and another one for non branded terms). On Search we improved campaign targeting and ad copy
